Skills Training

This programme introduces solar electricity courses into higher education curriculum across the region. A counterpart teaching methodology is used to allow the programme to continue and expand beyond the initial course offerings. Community based training are also provided in conjunction with EFO's Community Charging Station projects to increase local technical skills in our project areas. Read more...

Livelihoods

The Community Charging Station (CCS) is Energy For Opportunity's initial project in a community. It provides a base for phone and battery charging and a hub for solar lighting and other energy products and services. Additionally, it creates employment and generates community revenue that can be used for maintenance and to support other solar projects in the community. Read more...

This programme provides basic power to rural clinics and community health centres for lighting and medical equipment. Systems will be specifically designed to meet the needs of the individual site and will target areas that serve isolated and inaccessible communities. Read more...
